Vom Donnerstag, dem 31.05.2012 bis zum Samstag, dem 02.06. fand im Institut für Deutsche und Niederländische Philologie der Freien Universität Berlin die Tagung "Erzählte Städte. Beiträge zur Forschung und Lehre in der europäischen Germanistik." statt.

Scholarly work on Middle Low German texts very often contains phrases like ‘unfortunately’, ‘less attention’ and ‘needs further investigation’. However, the few scholars who share the interest in the Medieval Baltic region and its texts agree on the richness of the sources and its similarities with better researched areas, as for example the Mediterranean area.

The workshop will be held in cooperation between Stockholm University, Department of History/Centre for Medieval Studies, and Ernst Moritz Arndt Universität Greifswald, Institut für Deutsche Philologie.

Vom 22. bis 24. Sept. 2010 fand im Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald die Tagung 'Paläste der Gelehrsamkeit. Privatbibliotheken im späten Mittelalter und in der frühen Neuzeit' statt.

Vom 13. bis 16. Mai 2010 fand in Greifswald die MOVENS-Tagung 'Grenzen überschreiten - transitorische Identitäten' statt.

Vom 25. bis 27. März 2009 fand in Mülheim a.d. Ruhr die Tagung 'Sprechen mit Gott. Redeszenen in mittelalterlicher Bibeldichtung und Legende', organisiert von Prof. Dr. Nine Miedema (Duisburg-Essen) und Prof. Dr. Monika Unzeitig (Greifswald), statt.
